William Morris

Not many people count William Morris as a Textile Designer, I never see anyone refer to him as that. He had many a skill, being an English architect, furniture and textile designer, artist, writer, and socialist, but i refer to him as one of my all time favourite Textile Designers, and one of the most influential of my work.

A few of my favourite designs by Morris. I wouldnt really call them vintage as they are MUCH older than the 1920’s that most popular at the moment. I would see this being hung up in a medieval castle or something, not in someone’s living room (maybe my GrandMother’ but, shh) I would love to see these come back in fashion as they’re are so delicately designed.
